Caleb & Brown expands to UK, targets wealthy crypto investors
Caleb & Brown, owned by Swyftx Group, has launched private client crypto services in the UK a year after Swyftx bought the firm in 2025 for more than $100 million.
Caleb & Brown has launched private client digital asset services in the United Kingdom, extending its operations beyond Australia and the United States. Swyftx Group acquired the boutique brokerage in 2025 for more than $100 million, and the UK launch comes about a year after the deal.
The firm plans to focus on high-net-worth and wealth management clients rather than retail traders, offering personalised execution and advice intended for investors who prefer a higher-touch service over self-serve exchanges.
Andrea Yuen, co-CEO of Swyftx Group, called the UK an ‘untapped opportunity’ and noted investment in Bitcoin and other alternative risk assets in the country is ‘four or even five times lower’ than in the US, Asia and Australia. She said lower overall adoption creates space for private client services that differ from standard retail exchanges.
Chainalysis’s 2025 Global Crypto Adoption Index ranks the UK 11th globally. The Financial Conduct Authority estimated that roughly 8% of people in the UK held crypto last year; that share fell from 2024 while the typical amount held by investors increased.
Caleb & Brown positions itself as a specialist brokerage for wealthy clients, offering personalised advice and execution rather than the self-serve model common on retail platforms. The firm’s UK launch follows a trend of crypto companies developing wealth-focused offerings as retail adoption rates vary across markets.
The company has not disclosed client numbers or detailed product rollout timing for the UK operation. Services announced for the UK will add to Caleb & Brown’s existing offerings in Australia and the US.
