BlackRock’s IBIT Sparks $32M Bitcoin ETF Rebound
BlackRock’s IBIT drew $89.83 million on July 29, helping bitcoin ETFs post $32.11 million in net inflows and ending a four-day withdrawal streak.
On Wednesday, July 29, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) attracted $89.83 million, contributing to $32.11 million in net inflows for bitcoin ETFs and ending four consecutive days of withdrawals. Total bitcoin ETF trading that day reached $1.88 billion and combined net assets for the category stood at $77.46 billion.
IBIT’s large addition offset notable redemptions at other funds: Fidelity’s FBTC saw $43.08 million leave and ARK 21Shares’ ARKB recorded $14.64 million in outflows.
In the ether ETF complex, Morgan Stanley’s newly launched staking fund MSSE drew $14.30 million on Wednesday and about $19.45 million over two days. BlackRock’s ETHA added $5.16 million. Those inflows were outweighed by selling across several products: Fidelity’s FETH lost $16.07 million, Grayscale’s ETHE fell by $9.74 million, the Ether Mini Trust saw $8.09 million withdrawn, 21Shares’ TETH shed $2.85 million and Bitwise’s ETHW declined by $1.36 million. Ether ETFs ended the session with an $18.65 million net outflow, trading $563.79 million and holding $10.37 billion in combined net assets.
Solana funds reversed the prior day’s losses, taking in $19.06 million in new money, all directed to Morgan Stanley’s MSOL. Solana ETF trading totaled $60.21 million and category net assets rose to $862.98 million.
XRP ETFs returned to positive flows, led by Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ, which attracted $584,710. The XRP category’s assets reached $988.70 million and trading came to $10.35 million. HYPE-branded ETFs recorded continued outflows: Bitwise’s BHYP had an $8.78 million withdrawal, marking a fifth straight session of outflows for the HYPE group. HYPE trading was $6.92 million and net assets declined to $252.38 million.
Inflows on the session were concentrated in IBIT and staking-enabled products such as MSSE and MSOL, while several other funds recorded net redemptions.
