Bitget Wallet debuts native Solana staking via own validator

Bitget Wallet launched native Solana staking through a self-run validator, letting users stake from 0.01 SOL in-app.
Bitget Wallet introduced native Solana staking through a validator it operates itself, giving users direct access to validator-level rewards while keeping assets in self-custody.
The feature sits in the wallet’s Earn section. Staking starts at 0.01 SOL, rewards compound automatically on Solana’s standard epoch schedule, and the company applies no additional fee beyond routine network gas.
By operating its own validator, the firm reduces reliance on external node providers and manages performance and uptime internally. Users can keep oversight of staking performance and stake management from within the app.
Bitget Wallet links the service to a $700 million protection fund. The company plans to extend the validator model to other networks to unify native yield options within the app. The rollout comes amid steady participation on Solana, with more than 67% of eligible SOL supply locked, according to the company.
Bitget also launched a suite of AI trading avatars on its GetAgent platform, letting users copy seven live strategies with one click. The agents, including DeepSeek as a baseline model, cover conservative hedging, major-coin momentum, altcoin speculation, rules-based CTA trading, grid range tactics, and dip-buying approaches.
From 24 November to 15 December, Bitget is opening a copy-trading window backed by a 10,000-USDT reward pool and daily vouchers for the first 100 copiers. CEO Gracy Chen says the avatars personalize trading, as users can chat with their agent and later compare results with the unchanged DeepSeek benchmark.
Beyond Bitget’s in-house experiment, a separate project called Alpha Arena is probing the same frontier of AI-driven trading from a different angle. Its new “Season 1.5” shifts from crypto to the U.S. stock market, where eight language-model-based traders — including returning champion Qwen and newcomers like Kimi 2 and a “Mystery Model” — manage $10,000 in real capital across four themed challenges.
