US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $172.4 million in net inflows in July, despite a $265.4 million net outflow on the final trading day of the month, according to SoSoValue.
The July inflows reversed two consecutive months of withdrawals. May and June together saw nearly $7 billion in outflows, with June posting the largest monthly withdrawal of 2026 at $4.5 billion. The $265.4 million net outflow on the last trading day was the largest daily withdrawal since July 13. For the week ending July 31, Bitcoin ETFs recorded a $61.53 million outflow after three straight weeks of inflows.
March, April and July were the only positive months for spot Bitcoin ETFs in 2026, producing a combined $3.46 billion in inflows. January, February, May and June posted outflows totaling about $8.75 billion. Since their launch, the US-listed products have accumulated about $51.32 billion in cumulative net inflows. Total net assets across the products stood at $76.29 billion at the end of July.
Other crypto ETF categories showed different flow patterns in July. Ether ETFs logged four consecutive weeks of inflows and finished July with $365.2 million in net new assets, their second positive month of 2026 after April’s $356 million inflow. Despite the July inflow, Ether ETFs remain roughly $1.1 billion in net outflows year to date. XRP ETFs recorded $27.3 million in July inflows, their fifth positive month of 2026, bringing year-to-date net inflows for XRP products to about $343 million.
Bitcoin prices experienced late-month volatility and the funds saw renewed selling pressure at month-end, coinciding with the largest daily outflow on the final trading day.
