Bitcoin ETFs See $82.16M Outflows; ARKB, IBIT Lead

Ark and BlackRock lost prior gains as bitcoin ETFs recorded $82.16M net outflows on June 17, led by ARKB’s $43.53M and IBIT’s $30.76M withdrawals.

On June 17, bitcoin exchange-traded funds posted $82.16 million in net outflows, reversing gains from the previous session. Ark & 21Shares’ ARKB led withdrawals with $43.53 million and BlackRock’s IBIT saw $30.76 million leave. Grayscale’s GBTC lost $15.46 million, Invesco’s BTCO shed $6.39 million and Vaneck’s HODL declined by $4.11 million. Offsetting inflows included Fidelity’s FBTC with $14.02 million and Morgan Stanley’s MSBT with $4.07 million. Total traded value in bitcoin ETFs was $2.06 billion and combined net assets for the category stood at $80.66 billion. Week-to-date flows showed two days of outflows and one day of inflows.

Ether ETFs recorded outflows across seven funds with no product reporting an inflow on June 17. Grayscale’s Ether Mini Trust led ether withdrawals at $9.89 million, BlackRock’s ETHA lost $8.97 million and Fidelity’s FETH declined by $4.34 million. 21Shares’ TETH fell by $2.79 million and Grayscale’s ETHE by $2.24 million. Smaller exits occurred at Vaneck’s ETHV ($638,860) and Bitwise’s ETHW ($500,120). Total traded value in ether ETFs was $546.09 million and net assets closed at $9.58 billion.

Some alternative-token products recorded inflows. HYPE ETFs added $2.14 million, led by Bitwise’s BHYP at $1.63 million and Grayscale’s HYPG at $510,580; HYPE funds traded $33.99 million and held $235.17 million in net assets. Solana exposure posted $1.06 million of inflows, entirely through Fidelity’s FSOL; Solana ETFs traded $54.21 million and had $827.88 million in net assets. XRP ETFs reported no trading activity and held $1.04 billion in net assets.

BlackRock’s new iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF (BITA) traded about $6 million and $7 million in its first two days. Eric Balchunas, a senior ETF analyst, described those prints as ‘solid’ and ranked the listing among the top 1% of ETF launches by initial trading while noting it remains smaller than IBIT.

Combined trading volumes on June 17 were $2.06 billion for bitcoin ETFs, $546.09 million for ether ETFs, $33.99 million for HYPE funds and $54.21 million for Solana exposure, with category net assets reported above.
