Bitcoin ETFs’ 7-Day Inflows Erase 2026 Outflows

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs logged seven straight days of inflows, drawing $314.37 million Tuesday and lifting August inflows to $3.03 billion; YTD net outflows narrowed to $2.26 billion.

U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds extended a seven-day inflow streak on Tuesday, taking in $314.37 million and bringing August inflows to $3.03 billion, according to SoSoValue data.

Total net assets across the Bitcoin ETFs reached $99.05 billion, and cumulative net inflows since the funds’ launches rose to $54.36 billion, SoSoValue shows.

With four trading sessions left in August, the month is about $390 million short of the funds’ October 2025 total, putting August on track to be the strongest month since then, the data indicate.

The seven-day run narrowed year-to-date net outflows for the funds by more than half, reducing cumulative net outflows for 2026 to $2.26 billion.

Bitcoin traded near $78,880 at the time of reporting, down about 2% over the prior 24 hours after briefly topping $80,000 during Tuesday’s session, according to CoinGecko. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index fell to 65 from 74 a day earlier and remained in the “Greed” range, per Alternative.me.

U.S. spot Ether ETFs also posted a seventh consecutive day of inflows, adding $179.8 million on Tuesday and recording roughly $1 billion of inflows over the seven-day period, SoSoValue reported.

Combined Tuesday inflows for spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs totaled about $494.2 million, based on SoSoValue figures for each asset class.

U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs provide regulated, exchange-traded access to the underlying cryptocurrencies without requiring investors to hold the coins directly. Since their introduction, the products have gathered tens of billions in net inflows and now represent nearly $100 billion in net assets, according to SoSoValue.

The weeklong inflow streak narrowed the gap created by earlier withdrawals in 2026, according to the data provider.
