Back to the Future? Binance delists DeLorean token from futures trading

Perpetual contracts for CreatorBid, DeLorean, Zircuit and Tanssi will be closed and delisted at 9 a.m. UTC on Jan. 21, with new positions halted at 8:30 a.m. UTC.

Binance Futures will close and delist perpetual contracts for CreatorBid (BID), DeLorean (DMC), Zircuit (ZRC) and Tanssi (TANSSI) at 9 a.m. UTC on Jan. 21. New positions will be blocked at 8:30 a.m. UTC.

Final settlement is scheduled for the BIDUSDT, DMCUSDT, ZRCUSDT and TANSSIUSDT pairs at the cutoff time. All open positions will be closed, and the contracts will be removed from the futures platform.

Around the announcement, CreatorBid was changing hands near $0.022, with about $1.53 million in 24-hour volume. DeLorean saw a brief uptick before sliding back toward $0.0011, while Tanssi jumped roughly 30% and then retraced. Zircuit, by contrast, showed little reaction.

The four projects span very different corners of the crypto market. CreatorBid positions itself around community co-ownership of AI-driven creator agents, while DeLorean has leaned on narratives tied to electric vehicles and on-chain driving analytics.

The delisting applies to futures products only and does not address spot market listings. No additional criteria were disclosed. Traders with open positions are advised to review balances, margin and risk settings ahead of settlement.

As we reported earlier, Binance Research’s 2025 review and 2026 themes note said market access expanded while prices moved between roughly $2.4 trillion and $4.2 trillion, and Bitcoin set a new high. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw more than $21 billion of net inflows, corporate holdings topped 1.1 million BTC, mining difficulty rose about 36% year over year as active addresses fell about 16%. DeFi total value locked was about $124.4 billion, stablecoin value exceeded $305 billion with about $3.54 trillion in average daily transfers. 2026 themes included regulated access via exchange-traded products, tokenized collateral, and AI-agent payments.
