Avalanche Backs W3 AI Platform Handling 200,000 Daily Workflows

Avalanche Foundation invested in W3, whose AI finance control platform on Avalanche processes about 200,000 enterprise workflows per day and centralizes custody, compliance and settlement.

W3 launched an AI finance control platform on the Avalanche network on April 28 and announced a strategic investment from the Avalanche Foundation. The company reported the platform handles about 200,000 enterprise workflows per day.

The platform is designed to give finance teams oversight of autonomous agents that execute payments and move capital at automated speed. It aggregates custody, compliance and settlement into unified workflows so businesses can deploy financial solutions in a single day.

Porter Stowell, W3’s CEO, noted, “Agents are moving money faster than enterprise controls can follow. We built the platform that lets finance teams keep pace without giving up oversight.”

W3’s architecture lets partners connect to the network once and make their services available across every workflow on the platform. The company estimates integration time can fall from months to hours.

The Avalanche Foundation did not disclose the terms of its investment. Matias Antonio, chief investment officer at the Avalanche Foundation, stated, “Agent-powered finance is going to be one of the most consequential shifts in how money moves. We invested in W3 because they are building the control infrastructure this category needs.”

Avalanche’s network currently hosts more than 70 Layer 1 blockchains and lists integrations with major financial firms including BlackRock, JPMorgan and Citi, giving W3 an institutional network to tap.

W3 is operating across five enterprise verticals and plans to announce additional integration partners in the coming weeks. W3 indicated those partnerships will expand the range of financial products available on Avalanche without the need for custom development.

Company executives described the launch as a response to enterprises’ difficulty integrating siloed protocols and legacy systems. By centralizing custody, compliance and settlement into configurable workflows, W3 intends to shorten deployment timelines while retaining human oversight of automated capital movements.
