The Q3 2025 report from Finbold aggregates global cryptocurrency metrics for the quarter ended September 30, 2025. It records World Liberty Financial, backed by Donald Trump, rising from $179.3 million to $10.81 billion (+5,931%) and shows BlackRock’s crypto holdings increasing by $22.46 billion over the period.

The report also notes that Bitcoin addresses with at least $1 million surpassed 190,000 after 7,872 were added in the quarter, and that crypto hacks totaled $306.8 million, marking the third straight quarterly decline and the lowest quarterly figure this year. Earlier in 2025, Finbold’s H1 report tallied $2.24 billion in hack losses, underscoring the scale of the subsequent Q3 slowdown.

ATM deployment accelerated again: more than 600 machines were added globally in Q3, continuing the growth pace seen in the first half of 2025 and pushing the worldwide total close to 40,000. Over half of the new installations were in the United States; the rebound followed a net decline in Q1 and strong additions in Q2.

Finbold’s methodology states that quarterly figures are drawn from verified on-chain analytics, market aggregators, exchange reports, and official announcements, with values presented in U.S. dollars and based on end-period snapshots.
