The entire exchange took place using photorealistic avatars, made possible by Meta’s Quest 3 headsets and noise-canceling headphones. “9 minutes into Lex/Mark metaverse podcast, I forgot I was watching avatars,” fans say. Fridman himself shared his impressions of the challenge of distinguishing Zuckerberg’s avatar from his actual physical presence.
