ARK Invest founder and CEO Cathie Wood commented on Bitcoin’s surge above $100,000. In a post on X, Wood said she believes Bitcoin is still in its early innings, even after breaking through the $100,000 mark.

Bitwise, an investment company, has thrown its hat into the ring with an application for a spot Ethereum ETF, aligning itself with industry heavyweights such as BlackRock, Grayscale, Fidelity, VanEck, and Ark/21Shares.

BlackRock, Ark Invest and 21Shares have recently revised (1, 2) their applications for a spot Bitcoin ETF. Notably, the ticker ARK 21SHARES BITCOIN ETF (ARKB) has appeared on the DTCC website.

Current Bitcoin market trends are fueling optimism among investors. David Puell, Research Associate at ARK Invest, predicts significant growth in Bitcoin’s value by the end of 2024, with a target range of $104,000 to $124,000.

The Super Political Action Committee (Super PAC), Fairshake, dedicated to supporting blockchain proponents in the political arena, has received a $4.9 million boost from Gemini founders Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, with each contributing $2.45 million. This follows previous backing from notable entities like Andreessen Horowitz, ARK Invest, Circle, Ripple Labs, and many more.

Ark Invest continues its strategy of unloading Grayscale Bitcoin Trust shares, with the latest sale amounting to $28 million in GBTC.

Ark Invest, in collaboration with 21Shares, is preparing to launch a new set of 5 ETFs that include futures contracts on ETH and BTC.

This Sunday (August 13) marks the first deadline for the SEC to weigh in on ARK 21Shares' Bitcoin ETF application. Weekend deadlines are tricky, but some analysts suggest the decision could drop today. Analyst James Seyffart puts the odds of approval at less than 5%.
