Exchange incentives and social media hype
Memecore ($M) is the native cryptocurrency of Memecore, a Layer 1 blockchain focused on memecoins. It was launched on July 3, 2025, and debuted on multiple centralized exchanges, including Binance, Kraken, Bitget, BingX, and HTX.
Memecore was also included in the Binance Alpha token program, which features memecoins with potential as early-stage, high-growth projects. Such listings and programs typically increase visibility and attract investor demand, supporting price growth.
Community engagement
MemeCore actively engages with the community, participating in and organizing events. On August 26, it co-hosted the Neo Vibe Tokyo event with the Neo blockchain and is planning the "HALLO MEME: RIDE UNTIL NEXT MORNING" party on September 23, 2025, in Seoul. On the technical side, the project uses a Proof-of-Meme consensus that rewards users for creating content and participating in the ecosystem.
Growth in Memecore-based memecoins
Data from CoinGecko shows that tokens built on Memecore, including MXT, BUNANA, and POPI, have posted daily gains. These are smaller-cap memecoins, with the largest, Memetern (MXT), having a market cap of over $10 million. Memecore is currently the 211th largest blockchain by total value locked (TVL). As an early-stage project, its long-term success remains highly uncertain.
