Trezor’s new Safe 7 hardware wallet, launched at the Trezor Conference in Prague on October 21, 2025, has been widely discussed across the crypto community.
Trezor says the new wallet is quantum-ready, meaning it’s designed to resist future quantum-computing threats through cryptographic updates. Danny Sanders, the Chief Commercial Officer at Trezor, celebrated the launch in an X post. Sanders congratulated the team and described Safe 7 as a flagship wallet combining innovation, security, and elegant design.
Early owners of the wallet, including YouTuber BTC Isla (@isabellasg3 on X), investor Sjuul (@SjuulNL), and LittleHODLer creator Lina Seiche, shared photos and reactions on X.

“Some launches just hit differently. Trezor Safe 7 was one of them; everything about the event showed how much care and effort went in. From start to finish, it just felt right,” Sjuul wrote. Real estate investor Pavel Fohler stressed that Trezor was born from the Realitní Investor community, adding that the launch is a proud moment for the country.
Nicolas Bacca, co-founder of another crypto hardware wallet brand, Ledger, pointed out some of the drawbacks he found with the wallet. He said he analyzed the Safe 7 and shared his thoughts from the perspective of a hardware-security enthusiast. According to Bacca, an open-source secure element found in the wallet has limited code execution capabilities and weaker protection than Infineon’s Optiga.
Overall sentiment about the new Trezor Safe 7 wallet leaned positive. Pre-orders are open on Trezor’s official store for $249. It’s a Bitcoin-only wallet, allowing users to store and manage their BTC securely, with no support for other cryptocurrencies.
