Police confirm Cryptology founder Kostya Kudo's death was suicide

Kyiv police completed the initial investigation into Konstantin Kudo's death, founder of Cryptology. It was officially established that the 32-year-old entrepreneur took his own life due to financial problems, leaving a farewell message to loved ones.
Ukraine's National Police officially confirmed the suicide of 32-year-old Konstantin Kudo, founder of crypto platform Cryptology. The entrepreneur's body with a gunshot wound was discovered on October 11, 2025, inside his Lamborghini in Kyiv's Obolon district.
Kyiv police investigators analyzed surveillance camera footage and established that Kudo committed suicide using a registered firearm. On the eve of the tragedy, he parked near a high-rise building and shot himself in the head.
According to law enforcement, the entrepreneur's relatives told investigators Kudo had been struggling financially and emotionally. On the night before his death, he reportedly sent a farewell message to loved ones.
Police entered information about the incident into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, classified as “suicide.” The pre-trial investigation continues, Kyiv police communications department reported.
Konstantin Kudo was a well-known blogger in the crypto community and co-founder of Cryptology crypto academy. The incident coincided with the sharp crypto market crash on October 10–11.
