UACatsDivision NFTs to raise funds for the fleet of naval drones

Ukrainians fight for their country’s independence and unity on a daily basis. While brave and courageous heroes defend the nation on the military front, regular people support them financially in the back. Another way to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine in achieving victory is to purchase NFTs from the UACatsDivision collection.

The project aims to raise 40,000,000 UAH (approximately $1,083,110.00) for the purchase of drone systems to bolster the combat navy.

The UACatsDivision NFT collection has been launched on the Ethereum network. It features 10,000 distinct images of cat-heroes from various military units. NFTs depict cats from Ukraine's Armed Forces, including Ground Forces, Special Operations Forces, Air and Navy Forces, commanding officers, paramedics, police officers, and Territorial Defense Forces. All representatives of Ukraine's defenders are included in this collection.

Details of the launch of the UACatsDivision NFT collection

The collection will go on sale on February 22nd with the support of WhiteBIT cryptocurrency exchange. The minting will take place on the UACatsDivision website. Users who want to participate in the fundraiser must link their crypto wallet to their browser in order to purchase NFTs. There is a fee for minting NFTs and using the network. The non-fungible token will show up in the owner's crypto wallet after operations are completed.

The funds raised will be displayed on the public blockchain. The naval drone system will be purchased once the necessary sum has been raised.

Why is there a need for naval drones?

Drones are required to patrol the maritime area and defend Ukrainian cities from enemy ship-launched missiles. Furthermore, combat setups are required to secure the movement of cargo ships.

Drones are the mainstay of the entire combat setup. Drones are equipped with an autopilot, video sensors, night vision, a communication system, and redundant parts. They are shielded from the invaders' radio-electronic waves and have ground control, a data center, transportation, and storage facilities. This kit costs 10 million UAH (approximately 270,777 USD) per unit. Four drone systems in total will be bought.

The UACatsDivision club

Each owner of an NFT that features a military cat joins the club known as UACatsDivision. NFT holders will have access to closed channels and forums and be able to participate in naming drones.

NFTs from the UACatsDivision collection can be used for a variety of purposes, including as a social media avatar, a collectible, object of resale on the marketplace, or a gift for a defender.

All cryptocurrency enthusiasts who care about Ukraine's fate can purchase NFTs to aid the Ukrainian Armed Forces in their battle against the occupiers. This will help them get closer to victory.

The co-founders of the project are Dmytro Kuriksha, Ivan Vitenko, Ivan Pavlovskyy, and Andrii Makarov.

The NFT collection was created in partnership with the national charity project United24 and the crypto-media platform Incrypted. One of the initiative's partners is the Ukrainian cybersecurity firm Hacken.
