The Proof-of-Work Summit 2024 is set to take place from September 27-29 in Frankfurt, Germany. Known as the “Bitcoin Renaissance,” this event will gather key figures to discuss the use cases of the Bitcoin base layer blockchain.
The Proof-of-Work 2024 Summit will feature discussions and presentations divided into four key POW themes:
- Proof of Scale (L2 solutions and sidechains).
In 2024, over 30 Layer 2 projects were launched. This theme explores the technical, economic, and financial aspects of the top projects in this space. - Proof of Utility (protocols and applications).
This theme focuses on emerging protocols and solutions competing for space in the base layer and Layer 2 blockchain ecosystems. - Proof of Sustainability (mining and environmental impact).
This theme challenges the narrative that PoW is outdated and harmful to the environment, especially when compared to Proof of Stake (PoS) models. - Proof of Human Rights (privacy, fungibility, legality, and more).
In an era where privacy is constantly under threat, the “Cypherpunks Write Code” manifesto is more relevant than ever. This theme will highlight advanced technologies and expert perspectives.
