ETHGlobal Sydney targets developers, designers, and artists within the Ethereum ecosystem eager to engage in a hackathon and work collaboratively on their projects.
This event is hosted by ETHGlobal, a non-profit founded in 2012 by Kartik Talwar, an Ethereum developer, investor, and Forbes "30 Under 30" honoree.

While participation in the hackathon is free, attendees at ETHGlobal Sydney are required to stake a small amount of ETH, which will be refunded after they present their projects at the end of the event.
Additionally, ETHGlobal Sydney features a prize pool of $100,000, which will be distributed among developers who successfully integrate the hackathon sponsors' protocols or SDKs (software development kits) into their projects.
