Devcon Southeast Asia 2024—the largest Ethereum community conference—will be held from November 11–14 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The origins of Devcon Southeast Asia trace back to Berlin’s Kreuzberg district in 2014, when Ethereum co-founders and early creators gathered for the first-ever Devcon 0 event.
Since then, Devcon has significantly grown in both scale and impact on the Ethereum platform. The conference changes location every year to engage the global community and make Ethereum accessible worldwide. Previous Devcon events took place in Berlin, London, Shanghai, Cancun, Prague, Osaka, and Bogota.
The 2024 Devcon in Asia is expected to attract around 12,000 attendees.
For networking and various activities, Devcon Southeast Asia 2024 will feature several themed spaces: a community hub, an account abstraction hub, a DAO governance hub, an on-chain developer hub, and more.

A highlight of the event will be a keynote address by Vitalik Buterin, one of the visionaries and creators behind Ethereum. Other prominent figures from the Ethereum ecosystem are also expected to attend.
