From December 3–5, Port Louis will host the Africa Bitcoin Conference — a major gathering where the Bitcoin community unites to discuss freedom, inclusion, and financial independence.
The conference returns to the Caudan Arts Centre in Port Louis, Mauritius, bringing together activists, innovators, and policymakers from across the continent. The event focuses on how Bitcoin empowers individuals, protects economic rights, and builds the foundations for lasting sovereignty in Africa.
Each year, the conference features visionary speakers and changemakers who share perspectives on decentralized finance, open-source technologies, and human freedom. Among the highlights is the ABC–DADA Fellowship, a partnership with Bitcoin Dada that provides mentorship and training for African women, promoting diversity and leadership within the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Upholding the principles of justice, equality, and neutrality, the Africa Bitcoin Conference envisions a world where everyone has access to a fair and censorship-resistant financial system – powered by Bitcoin.
